PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Thirty people have now died in the Pittsburgh region due to COVID-19.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health released numbers on Monday that shows there are 1,680 new cases to bring the state total to 16,239 in all 67 counties.
There are now cases in every county in Pennsylvania.
A total of 310 have died across the commonwealth.
Locally, there are now:
720 cases with 10 deaths in Allegheny128 with 13 deaths in Beaver113 with two deaths in Butler59 with zero deaths in Washington183 with one death in Westmoreland19 with zero deaths in Armstrong32 with two deaths in Lawrence27 with zero deaths in Mercer21 with zero deaths in Indiana17 with zero deaths in Greene 35 with one death in FayetteSeven with zero deaths in Somerset nine with one death in Cambria
That is a total of 1,370 cases and 30 dead in the area, nine more than Tuesday
Last Wednesday, Governor Tom Wolf put the entire state under a Stay-at-Home order.
All non-life essential businesses remain closed to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
