PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Today's COVID-19 report from Allegheny County has 71 new cases from 944 tests performed between August 11 and 16.
The positive test rate is 7.5%.
The new cases range in age from 1 month to 97 years old with the median age 47.
The health department also reports two additional deaths.
The deaths were in a person in his 80s and one in their 90s.
Data from the PA Department of Health shows that 107 are hospitalized in Allegheny County with 23 people currently using ventilators.
