PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – After just over a week at the Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Beaver County, the National Guard says it's preparing to end its deployment there.
About 40 guard members moved into the center May 11thto help with staffing, training, and decontamination.
More than 70 center residents have reportedly died from COVID-19, and more than 300 tested positive.
Colonel Frank Montgomery says they will leave in the next day or two.
