Washington And Harris Statues To Return To Pittsburgh International

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The statues of President George Washington and Steelers great Franco Harris are returning to their home at Pittsburgh International Airport.
The duo will take their rightful place on Thursday morning as part of “Steelers Day” at the airport to celebrate the Steelers home opener.
The statues were taken to the Heinz History Center back in mid-March for a restoration and conservation project.
The two famous figures have been at the airport for over a decade.
