The Allegheny County Parks Foundation partners with Allegheny County to conserve the valuable natural resources in all nine parks.
The core values of the Allegheny County Parks Foundation are excellence, sustainability, healthy lifestyles, accessibly, and collaboration.
These values strengthen the health and vibrancy of the community of the nine Allegheny County parks.
Allegheny County’s parks get 22 million visits every year. All 9 parks total 12,000 acres and 76% of that is covered with trees! These parks bring people together with ideas, leadership and resources to make the parks more sustainable and enjoyable for all. They plant trees and meadows and help clean 88 miles of streams. They help restore beloved historical features dating back 100 years.
The 9 Allegheny County Parks are:
Boyce Park
Deer Lakes Park
Harrison Hills Park
Hartwood Acres Park
North Park
Round Hill Park
Settlers Cabin Park
South Park
