A while later, an officer went outside to check on the dog, which reportedly got aggressive and bit the officer on the knee.

Attempts to use a dog pole failed.

Officers went inside to come up with another solution. When they returned. the dog had escaped and charged at one of the officers, forcing them to shoot the dog.

Officers believed the dog was dead and covered it with a cardboard box, but they discovered it was still alive.

After speaking with the Humane Society, it was decided to put the dog down with another gun shot.
