PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pennsylvania's Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman was featured on CBS Sunday Morning this past weekend.
During the conversation, Fetterman was asked all kinds of questions regarding minimum wage, legalizing recreational marijuana and much more.
"Marijuana is a bipartisan issue. This has nothing to do whether democrat, republican; this is a freedom issue, this is a revenue issue, this is a criminal justice issue," Fetterman said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show on Monday.
The former mayor of Braddock said the cannabis market is thriving in Pennsylvania through a black market. Fetterman believes that money should be going into the Pennsylvania Treasury.
It could generate $5 billion in tax revenue over the next 20 years, according to Fetterman
"Marijuana, it's a superstition over a plant that I think Pennsylvania could really benefit if we just simply said yes, and we structured it accordingly in our state," Fetterman added.
