Get Marty: The insurance company said "No coverage", but our insurance adjuster says "Not so fast"!

See why there's hope to help this family and their flash flood-damaged home.

Since our last update at Michelle Williams' home in Westmoreland County, we have some major updates on the situation going on there. Michelle, her boyfriend, her daughter and her grandbaby are still in a hotel after their home's foundation was washed out a few weeks ago. However, there is some potentially huge news. Watch the video on this page to see how it all played out in real-time.

The first piece of good news comes from our new friends at AquaGuard Systems Pittsburgh.  Company owner, Tom Gallagher took me underneath Michelle Williams home for a close-up look at what happened. You can see in the picture above, and in the video that one wall is completely washed out. The good news, according to Tom, is that it's only the one wall, and the temporary measures emergency crews took to stabilize the home were done just right.  He believes an official inspection will allow Michelle and her family to return home and begin repair work.  That could cost as much as $30,000.

The other piece of news that could be huge comes from private insurance adjuster Brian Pfister at Pfister Adjusting Inc.  After reviewing Michelle's homeowner's policy with Nationwide Insurance, he believes she may actually have coverage that qualifies.  They originally denied her claim, but he's agreed to take on her case to make sure they honor the terms of her policy.

So there's real hope now for Michelle and her family.  She's not out of the woods yet, but we're a step closer to getting something done to help them out of this tragedy.
