Rick Atem isn't shy about his strong opinions and that's part of what led to a falling out with Marty Griffin several years ago.
Things were so tense that Marty not only stopped taking Rick's calls to his KDKA Radio talk show, he also got banned from Get Marty's social media pages.

Looking at Rick's storefront on Freeport Road, you can see that he's a barber and he loves this country. On either side of Rick's Barbershop, you can find the U.S. Marine Corps flag flying opposite of our nation's flag. He's a proud retired Marine who's also seen a lot the last few years with his own health. That battle includes a heart attack and three rounds with cancer.
Those struggles have reignited a fire inside Rick to do something to make a difference... and that also led him to reach out to Marty. Now that they've reconciled we're all in to help get the word out on what Rick's doing.
Rick is putting his barber skills to work to help anyone that needs it. If someone needs a trim but can't afford it, Rick says he's more than willing to do them a solid and put some goodness back in the world.
