A Monroeville Chick-fil-A employee got a big surprise this week when the company gave him a $25,000 scholarship.
Luke Marasco has maintained a 4.0 GPA at Regent University.
The store manager said Marasco makes everyone feel welcome with "contagious energy and compassion."
The $25,000 scholarship is one of 14 Chick-fil-A will award this year in addition to 14,000 employees getting scholarships of $1,000 or $2,500.
Chick-fil-A CEO Andrew Cathy was on hand as well to present Marasco with the scholarship to “help him purse further education and personal growth beyond the restaurant.”
