A 25-year-old man is facing homicide charges in the shooting deaths of his mother and another man this week in Homestead.
Police arrested John Smith Wednesday on several warrants in other cases, including burglary and assault.
Smith turned himself in after he was named a person of interest in Tuesday's fatal shootings of Antoinette Porterfield and John West at a home in the 100 block of West 15th Avenue.
