A man is dead after a shooting at a gas station in Lawrenceville.
First responders were called to the Sunoco on Butler and 50th Streets around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
There was an altercation outside the gas station between two men when one of them opened fire.
The victim was shot in the chest. A bystander tried to perform life-saving first-aid but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pittsburgh Police say the other man involved in the incident called 911 and is being questioned at Pittsburgh Police headquarters.
No names have been released and Violent Crim Unit detective are investigating.
It's the second fatal shooting in the area Tuesday afternoon. A man was fatally shot in Ambridge just after 2 p.m.
