A 26-year-old Wilkinsburg man is facing attempted homicide, aggravated assault and other charges after a violent incident inside a Downtown hotel Monday night.
It happened a few minutes after 7 p.m. at the Even Hotel in the 400 block of Forbes Avenue.
Police say Heiko Calhoun is seen on video assaulting a man, banging the victim’s head on the floor, putting him in a choke hold and hitting, kicking and stomping the 41-year-old victim who was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Calhoun reportedly told officers the man made some threatening comments to him in the hotel lobby.
