Bentleyville Police say a man with 36 outstanding arrest warrants has turned himself in
36-year-old Nathan Raymond was wanted on warrants that totaled nearly $25,000 out of Washington County.
He turned himself in Thursday morning after posting on the Bentleyville Police's Facebook page:
No need I'm turning myself in it's funny I'm a felon and I haven't been in trouble with the law in probably 6 years t now these are traffic violations I owe for and I have been making payments and when I wasn't able to make payments I would bring myself in and sit it out I finally find a job after like I don't know 6 months of searching with my previous felony conviction excited. About my new job child supports like yeah we'll work with you Bentleyville nope 10,000 cash we won't accept payments I paid them $220 Cash 3 weeks ago who has $10,000 and can just go give it to a magistrate one single person nobody got money like that around here but yet it's okay we'll just put him in jail for a year over driving suspended I love it
The fines were allegedly traffic violations that Bentley wasn't able to make immediate payments on.
