PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) A new formula manufacturer has made itself at home in Pennsylvania.
ByHeart is the first FDA-registered formula maker to hit the market in 15 years, and the fifth formula manufacturer in the US.
It opened in Reading in March, just as a baby formula shortage began to rattle new parents everywhere - including Isabella Torres - mother of three month old Mateo.
She's hopeful ByHeart will make a difference in her search.
The plant was partly funded by a $1.75 million state grant.
