SWAT responded to two separate incidents in Pittsburgh on Sunday.
The first happened around 11am on the 400 block of Enright Court in East Liberty.
According to police, a woman said she was assault a number of times while being held against her will in a home. Police say that she was able to get out through a window.
She was taken to an area hospital evaluation.
SWAT entered the home, but did not find the suspect.
Around 7:30pm on the 5500 block of Baywood Street in the Highland Park Historic District Pittsburgh Police were trying to serve a Protection From Abuse order to a woman.
Police say she was combative and barricaded herself inside her apartment. They say she also started throwing objects at officers. She reported continued to throw objects when SWAT arrived.
SWAT entered the home shortly before 8:30pm and the woman was taken into custody. She was treated by medics for self-inflicted cuts on her arms.
Police say she could face assault and/or reckless endangerment charges because she threw things at police officers.
Investigations into both cases continue.
