Allegheny County has given an update on the status of five firefighters injured during a fire in Homestead over the weekend.
All of the firefighters were home by Sunday recovering from their injuries.
Two of the firefights that fell through the first floor of the house to the basement have "general pains/bumps" and spot burns.
The county says it's possible one of those firefighters went back to the hospital for possible broken ribs.
Two other firefighters suffered shoulder injuries with one them being involved in the rescue of the two that fell through the floor of one of the homes.
The fifth firefighter had difficulty breathing toward the end of the fire.
It's known what companies three of the firefighters were from. The two that feel through the floor were from Munhall VFC #4.
The five-alarm fire spread to three homes just before 9:30 a.m. on Saturday on East 17th Avenue in Homestead.
Crews had to fight the fire along with freezing temperatures, high winds and frozen water lines.
