The rookie cornerback was covering George Pickens when the second-year wide receiver showed why people believe he is going to have a breakout 2023.
In a play that is making its round all over Twitter…or I guess "X" now, Porter is matched up with Pickens. They take off, down the field, Pickens stops, turns around and makes and amazing, one-handed catch.
After getting up, Pickens take the football and places it in Porter's hands. He quickly takes the ball and throws it back in Pickens' face.
The crowd in attendance at St. Vincent erupts when Pickens makes the play with one person repeating, "oh my God."
Pickens was matched up with Porter on Friday and the two were going back and forth a few times, with Pickens pushing Porter down on one play.
Pickens has hinted the Steeler will push the ball downfield more this season, compared to last.
