DM Dilemma: My girlfriend's mad I'm going on a guy's trip and not on vacation with her

Summer is already off to a rocky start for this couple. We had a guy write in about some vacation issues he's having with his girlfriend. He explained that she's been to "multiple bachelorette parties" which were trips. He's now schedule a trip with his friends and his girlfriend is upset, because he doesn't have the funds to go on a summer vacation with her. Is he wrong for booking a trip with the guys?
