Every April, we celebrate National Park Week in America and encourage people to get out and explore all our beautiful parks have to offer.
On Saturday, April 20th, the week kicks off with FREE ENTRANCE to more than 400 National Parks, 15 of which are right here in Washington State.
One of my absolute favorite places to visit is the North Cascades, and access via Highway 20 is scheduled to reopen this week.
Throughout the week, you can participate in fun themed days including Military & Veterans Recognition Day on Sunday, April 21st and BARK Ranger Day on Saturday, April 27th. And while you're out exploring, use the hashtag #NationalParkWeek on social media!
Have an amazing National Park Week, Rockaholics! We'll see you on the trails!
Happy Adventuring,
Taryn Daly
