On Saturday, May 8, the producers behind the highly successful Global Citizen Festival are bringing some of the biggest artists together for a concert event aimed at promoting the benefits and accessibility of COVID-19 vaccinations.
Hosted by Selena Gomez, the special Vax Live: A Concert to Reunite the World broadcast will feature performances from Jennifer Lopez, Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, J Balvin, H.E.R., as well as a number of other appearances, and can be watched live on ABC, CBS, FOX, and streaming on YouTube.

According to the announcement, VAX LIVE: A Concert to Reunite the World "is celebrating the hope that COVID-19 vaccines are offering families and communities around the world. We are calling on world leaders to step up to make sure vaccines are accessible for all so we can end the pandemic for everyone, everywhere."
In addition, for those seeking more information and resources to research vaccinations for themselves, Vax Because has been created with the aim of making sure "everyone, everywhere can find the answers they’re looking for about the COVID-19 vaccines, so we can each make the right decisions for ourselves, our families, and our communities."
