DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A Dallas man on trial for murder takes off before the verdict comes down.
According to the Dallas County District Attorney's office, prosecutors learned 25-year-old Rene Carillo cut off his electronic leg monitor Wednesday night and took off.
The U.S. Marshal Service issued a warrant for him and are searching for him.
Carillo is 5' 6", 150 lbs, he has brown eyes and black hair.
Despite that fact that he wasn't in court, Carillo was found guilty of murder and given a 99-year prison sentence for the 2017 murder of a man he got into an argument with at a club.
When Carillo is captured, he'll start serving his sentence and will face additional felony charges for fleeing and bail jumping.
