DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A little dog named Chi Chi is melting hearts in the Houston area and he needs your help.
The Brazoria County SPCA says little Chi Chi broke both of his legs. His owner couldn't afford medical care and gave him to the Brazoria County SPCA.
Paige Morrison is the Director of Operations. She says an orthopedic surgeon performed surgery on Chi Chi's legs. Morrison says, "Now, Chi Chi is set up for the road to recovery which is going to take anywhere from four to six weeks depending on how well he does."
But, the surgery is expensive. So, the Brazoria County SPCA went to Facebook and is asking for donations.
Morrison says, "This is clearly striking the hearts of people. I'm sure that there will be a list of people wanting to take care of Chi Chi once we get everything healed up."
