The Dallas Mavericks announced Thursday that the franchise is offering an extraordinary trade package to whichever lucky sports card collector pulls the one-of-one Cooper Flagg Topps Debut Patch Autograph card.
The rare collectible is seeded as a redemption card inside packs of Topps’ 2025–2026 Chrome Update Basketball. The card features a player-worn patch cut directly from the jersey Flagg wore during his NBA regular-season debut against the San Antonio Spurs, paired with his official signature.
To entice the finder, the Mavericks structured a formal trade proposal for the card. According to the team's official announcement, the bounty is headlined by two premium lower-level season tickets for the next 32 years—a timeline selected to honor Flagg’s No. 32 jersey.
In addition to three decades of tickets, the team's offer includes a signed, game-worn rookie jersey from Flagg, a postgame photo with the Rookie of the Year winner, and a private photo shoot with both the ROTY trophy and the 2011 Larry O’Brien Championship trophy. The package also features a VIP tour of the team's practice facility, a full team meet-and-greet, a private basketball experience for up to 10 guests on the floor at American Airlines Center, and an all-expenses-paid road trip to see Dallas face the Boston Celtics.
Sports card industry analysts at Sports Card Investor estimate the total monetary value of the Mavericks' experiential bounty package at $800,000 to $1.2 million. However, experts project that the unique piece of basketball history could fetch anywhere between $2 million and $5 million if sold at a major public auction.
The redemption card remains uncollected in circulation as fans and hobbyists begin opening retail and hobby boxes nationwide.
