Dallas police are now circulating store security video showing the shocking moments after a 7-Eleven clerk was mortally wounded at work Monday.

The video picks up seconds after a masked man shot clerk Nathaniel Ogbolu who was in front of the counter at the time and out of view of the camera.

While Ogbolu lays dying on the floor, the killer calmly grabs his backpack and walks behind the counter where he appears befuddled and unsure how to open the cash registers.

viewer caution: disturbing images

Holding his pistol in his left hand the whole time, he stands there for a good 30 seconds, looking back and forth, apparently unable to figure out where the money is.

Finally, the suspect grabs one item from the shelf behind the counter and stalks out.

In addition to gunning down Ogbolu, the male suspect, according to police, took a shot at a potential witness but missed.

Dallas police detectives are hoping someone watching the video will call in tips to help find the killer.
