Dallas residents have long complained about illegal street racing the dangers it poses. In response, Dallas police have created a Speeding and Racing Task Force completed a week of "concentrated enforcement" on April 11th.
During that week, they made 224 traffic stops resulting in 221 citations, six felony arrests and 22 misdemeanor arrests.
They also confiscated four firearms.

Just Sunday, the 11th, they arrested two drivers they caught racing. One of them faces two counts of Child Endangerment.
