Residents across Dallas–Fort Worth are preparing to welcome the New Year on Tuesday night with dozens of events ranging from large public fireworks shows to concerts, family activities, and ticketed parties across the region.

Celebrations are planned throughout Dallas, Fort Worth, and surrounding cities, offering options for families, music fans, and late-night revelers alike.

In Dallas, the annual Lone Star New Year’s Eve fireworks show is set to light up the skyline around Reunion Tower just before midnight, with pyrotechnics and LED effects visible from across downtown. Nearby venues, hotels, and restaurants are hosting New Year’s Eve dinners and parties tied to the fireworks display, while other parts of the city are offering seasonal attractions and live entertainment leading into the countdown.

Fort Worth is also hosting multiple New Year’s Eve celebrations, including live music and public festivities in Sundance Square and events in the Stockyards featuring country music, dancing, and rodeo-themed parties. Several venues are offering earlier countdowns and family-friendly options for those not staying out until midnight.

Across the broader Metroplex, orchestral performances, holiday light experiences, concerts, and neighborhood events are scheduled throughout the evening. Many celebrations offer ticketed admission, while others are free and open to the public, with some communities encouraging early arrival due to expected crowds.

Officials remind residents planning to attend New Year’s Eve events to arrange safe transportation, follow posted event guidelines, and check venue policies before heading out.
