Fort Worth firefighters are still keeping an eye out for hot spots at the scene of a stubborn grass and brush fire that broke out Sunday about 2:30 p.m.

Officials say flames were spotted at Harmon Field Park near I-30 and Riverside. The fire kept going all day and all night and was still burning Monday despite steady work from fire crews who were contending with temperatures in the upper 90s and hot, south winds on Monday gusting up over 25 miles-an-hour.

Crews were still on hand to tarrget several hot spots late Monday afternoon.
