Irving Police say several Nimitz High School students made a threat against the school on social media.

Police say the students made several threats online - involving a picture of a rifle round and a presumed grenade.

Officers contacted the teens and say there is no grenade. It was actually a car accessory gear shifter.

Police say there is no threat against Nimitz, or any other school in the district.

Irving police say they are still investigating the threat criminally.
