Dallas police are now holding the murder suspect they've been searching for since last October.
It was October 2022 when the victim later identified as Dyawn Thomas was gunned down at Main Street Garden Park near Main Street and South Saint Paul in downtown Dallas.
Some months later, detectives released surveillance video, asking for help identifying suspects.
Now, Dallas Police announced they have arrested a man named Maleek Wright who is held at the Dallas County jail on a murder charge. Investigators have not said why Thomas was shot.
