A Mesquite woman has been charged with murder in the shooting death of her boyfriend last week.
Police say Myahana Johnson is at the Dallas County jail on a murder charge with her bond set at $1.5 million.
The New Orleans man who was killed has been identified as Jabari Walters. Johnson tells police she felt "trapped" in her relationship with Walters.
Johnson acknowledges that she set up a meeting with Walters and obtained a handgun beforehand. When Walters approached, there was gunfire. A witness told detectives she heard as many as four gunshots.
