One person has been killed in a Fort Worth freeway crash overnight, the city's second fatal crash in just over an hour.

Police say just before 1:00 a.m. Thursday an 18-wheeler was involved in a crash on I-30 near Lockheed Boulevard in far west Fort Worth.

Fort Worth police and Tarrant County Sheriff deputies arrived to find the semi on its side, but officials say the cause of the crash is still not clear.

In addition to the one person who was killed in the crash, three others were hurt. The eastbound side of I-30 was closed and traffic was diverted off at Cherry Lane.

About an hour earlier, a Denton County man died in a wrong-way crash in far north Fort Worth near Texas Motor Speedway on Hwy 114.
