Red Alert Construction is scheduled in Richardson this weekend affecting commuters that use 75 during DART bridge arch installation.
On Thursday July 23rd on southbound 75 between Arapaho and Spring Valley Road alternating lanes will be closed overnight from 9 pm - 5 am.
On Friday, July 24th that's when the RED ALERT road work starts with both northbound and southbound 75 being completely shut down between Belt Line Road and Arapaho Road from 9 pm - 6 am, traffic will be diverted to the service road.
On Saturday, July 25th just northbound 75 will be closed between Belt Line Road and Arapaho Road from 9 pm to 8 am, again traffic will be diverted to the service road.
Also DART Silver Line rail service between Plano’s Shiloh Road Station and UTD Station will also be suspended overnight from Friday, July 24th through Sunday, July 26th as the trains cannot operate beneath the active construction zone while crews install a 400-foot decorative steel arch on the north side of the highway to match an arch on the south side was installed earlier this summer.
