The shooting occurred around 9:10 p.m. June 6 at the park in the 5200 block of East Rosedale Street. One woman suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was hospitalized in critical condition. An elderly woman was shot in the hip with non-life-threatening injuries. A child had a bullet graze their head and was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries. A Fort Worth officer sitting in a parked patrol vehicle nearby was struck in the neck by shrapnel after a bullet passed through the windshield; his injuries are not life-threatening.
