Billy Bob’s Concerts
Concerts are finally back at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth. This weekend there are a full slate of performances. On Friday night the legendary Robert Earl Keen hits the stage. On Friday it’s Lone Star. And on Saturday, Joe Nichols plays. Billy Bob’s reminds you to arrive early, as COVID-19 protocols mean it will take longer than normal to get into the venue.

Denton County Toys for Tots Bike Run
American-Eagle Harley Davidson in Corinth will be hosting the DENTON COUNTY TOYS FOR TOTS BIKE RUN on Saturday, 11/7. Because of the pandemic, they’re looking to distribute three times the amount of toys they did last year. After the ride, bikers will be able to enjoy Texas Rib Rangers BBQ, free adult beverages and the best of 80's Rock by GLAM!

Dia de los Muertos Altar Display
Join them on the LCC plaza for a display of this years’ community altars. You can bring a copy of your loved one’s photo to place on the LCC Community Altar. They’ll also have free sugar skull kits you can add to your altar at home.

Fort Worth Fall Japanese Festival at Fort Worth Botanic Garden
One of Fort Worth’s favorite fall events is back this weekend at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Celebrated Japanese culture with food trucks, vendors, and performers. Goisagi will be performing throughout the day. You must wear masks, and practice social distancing. And tickets have to be purchased in advance for this popular event!

At the same time, the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) and Fort Worth Botanic Garden invites visitors to see their newest exhibit “Topiaries in the Garden,” running Oct. 16, 2020 through June 30, 2021. Featuring 12 plant-based animal shapes, such as elephants, giraffes, and butterflies, the displays are sure to stimulate a sense of wonderment and fascination.

Holiday at the Arboretum
Holiday at the Arboretum is one of Dallas’ favorite holiday traditions. You can stroll the garden to see the 25-foot-tall beautifully decorated Victorian-style gazebos that represent each of the 12 Days of Christmas. Also stop by the Christmas Village. Hours are extended into the evenings, the garden becomes aglow with over one million lights. Enjoy visits with Santa Claus, entertainment, shopping, food & beverage options and more.

Homecoming Football at UNT

#IfThenSheCan Pop-Up Exhibit Preview
The American Association for the Advancement of Science presents this preview of the #IfThenSheCan Exhibit inside NorthPark Center in Dallas. See 10 3D printed statues of STEM innovators. Eventually (in 2021) the full exhibit will be located outside NorthPark Center, and will include 122 statues. The most statues of women ever assembled in one location at one time.

The preview features, among others: Erika Anderson - Reliability Engineer, ExxonMobil,
Dana Bolles - Spaceflight Engineer, and Minerva Cordero - University Dean, Mathematics, University of Texas at Arlington.

Paranormal Cirque ‘20 Tour - Denton

Perot Museum: Reopened to the Public
The wildly popular Perot Museum of Nature and Science continues Friday, Saturday, and Sunday hours after reopening last month. There are new public-health protocols, ticketing procedures, reduced hours, and 25% occupancy limits. Because of the strict occupancy limits, guests should purchase their tickets online ahead of time for their timed entry into the Perot.

Reliant Lights Strauss Square Benefit Concert
Reliant lights the stage at Strauss Square on Thursday, November 5 signaling the return of concert events at the AT&T Performing Arts Center with opening act, Daniel Gonzales and featuring Dallas favorite, Jake Dexter & the Main Street Sound. This benefit concert supports the relief fund created for the Center while its stages have been dark and its doors have been closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
