Kamala Harris's running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is still being criticized for his military record and is accused of "stolen valor". KRLD's Michael Board explains.
More than four-dozen Republican lawmakers, who are military veterans have signed a letter, criticizing Tim Walz, for what they called egregious misrepresentations of his time in uniform.
Congressman Tony Gonzales of Texas signed on. He says lying about your military record diminishes the sacrifices made by veterans who did serve in combat.
In response, a spokesperson for Walz says he's a "steadfast" supporter of veterans, pointing to a letter that hundreds signed on to.
