One thing is sure, Halloween will be different this year. The traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating has health officials concerned. But one family came up with a super creative way to safely dole out candy to trick-or-treaters with a DIY candy slide. It allows you to pass treats to trick-or-treaters while maintaining a six foot separation and contactless delivery! The Wicked Makers specialize in Halloween props and decor and have several YouTube videos on several Halloween DIY projects. The slide uses a 6 foot long piece of PVC pipe on two stand, one of which is lower than the other. Then you can decorate the pipe any ghoulish way you wish. Using lights you can create a spot where children can gather while you drop off pieces of candy that will travel the six feet down the pipe and into a hands of a happy child. The how-to video says you will have to do some tests to get the right slope so the treats do not become stuck inside.
