Live from Los Angeles, the 2019 American Music Awards have arrived. On a night packed with performances and a special tribute to Taylor Swift, it’s really the fans at the center of the AMAs.
After all, it’s the fans who vote at the American Music Awards, helping their favorite artist walk away a winner. They’ve done it now a record 5 times for Taylor Swift in the Artist of the Year category. She also has more AMAs than anyone now, ever. This year the “Lover” singer scored the top prize of the night, and a special Artist of the Decade recognition.
Billie Eilish was the other big winner of the night, walking through fire for her performance and picking up awards for Favorite Artist Alternative Rock and New Artist of the Year.
