The country's largest cable provider says it will have tens of thousands of people pitching in on projects across the world on Saturday, including in its home city of Philadelphia.
Bob Smith heads up community investment in the region for Comcast.
"Most of the projects that we're involved in were brought to us by our employees or members of the community, so we're really giving back where it matters most," he said.
They include more than a dozen Philadelphia public schools, along with community centers and parks. Smith says anyone who wants to volunteer is welcome.
It's part of the 18th annual Comcast Cares Day.
