PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police have released new video of two men they say assaulted a police officer during the Eagles' Super Bowl celebrations in Center City on Sunday night.

Authorities say it was just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of Broad and Chestnut streets when a 52-year-old officer was hit in the head by the two males as he rode by them on his motorcycle.

Police did not say whether or not the officer was treated afterward for any injuries.

One of the males was shown as wearing a No. 6 Eagles jersey, while the other wore all black clothing.

Anyone with information about the two men is asked to call the Police Department's tip line at 215-686-TIPS.

At least six others were arrested for assaults on police Sunday night after another fight broke out on Broad Street, near Sansom Street.
