PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for a woman they say robbed an 81-year-old in Center City last month.
It happened on June 25 around 11:30 a.m. Police say the suspect was riding a bicycle down 19th and Pine streets when she pushed the elderly woman from behind and grabbed her purse, causing the woman to fall to the ground.
The suspect then took $100, dropped the bag and fled the scene. The 81-year-old suffered a minor head injury.
