Chrissy Teigen has opened up about developing a friendship with Meghan Markle and if they've talked since the former royal sat down with Oprah Winfrey in the bombshell interview last month.

The cookbook author and former model spoke about her relationship with Markle, 39, during an appearance on Tuesday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” revealing that their shared experience with pregnancy loss brought the two together, ET reported.

"She's been so kind to me ever since we connected on-- she had written me about Baby Jack and loss, but yeah," Teigen said.

The "Lip Sync Battle" host lost her son, Jack, in September at 20 weeks pregnant. Teigen shares two children, Luna, 5, and Miles, 2, with husband John Legend.

In November, Markle revealed that she too suffered a miscarriage over the past summer. The former "Suits" actress shares Archie, almost 2, with Prince Harry, and is expecting a daughter this summer.

Teigen continued, "She is really wonderful and so kind, and just as kind as everyone says she is. And that's why you look at everything and are like, 'My god, what is absolutely wrong with people where they have to make this person out to be so malicious or so crazy when it's just as simple as them being as kind as everybody says they are?'"

"So yeah, she's a really wonderful person," she added.

Teigen,35, went on to confirm that she has been in contact with Markle since she sat down for an interview with Oprah, where Markle alleged racism within the royal family and opened up about her battles with mental health.

"I think when I ended up watching it, it was like,' Holy sh*t, this is big.' But I also waited a long time to watch it, so I had already heard so much about it by the time that I got to it," Teigen admitted. "But yeah, it is -- I mean, very eye-opening," she said. "Very eye-opening."

Naturally, Cohen asked if she had received any extra scoop on Markle’s departure from the royal family.

"Extra tea? Um, no. Honestly, no," Teigen said. "She's been very open about what she's been open with, and I think honestly her truth has been her truth since the very beginning. So, no, I didn't get any extra extra."
