GREEN BAY, WI (SportsRadio 610) - The Houston Texans have traveled to Green Bay, Wisconsin, to participate in joint practices with the Packers before Thursday's preseason game.

With that, the Texans' players were able to partake in the tradition of borrowing and riding children's bikes from the locker rooms of Lambeau Field to the Don Hutson Center practice facilities.

The child who lends their bike gets to carry an NFL players equipment to the field.

The tradition dates back to the Vince Lombardi era of the Packers.

Wisconsin native and Texans star, J.J. Watt, finally got to participate and borrowed a kid's bike, and rode it until the seat broke.

You are correct @JJWatt, Biraj Sadhu's bike seat is "Not Big Man Proof" --No surprise the @HoustonTexans caught up with the family & a new bike is headed Biraj's way!! ---- pic.twitter.com/Ch1DpOTqKy
