Clemson keeps pace atop ACC after road win at FSU

Clemson Basketball hung for a road win over the weekend to keep their grip on 1st place in the ACC. The Tigers got a hard fought 82-81 win Saturday at Florida State.

Clemson scored nearly 50 2nd half points and hit 22 of their 29 free throw attempts to edge out the Seminoles. The Tigers were able to find a way to win despite turning the ball over 18 times.


They had three players in double figures, Hunter Tyson had a game high 27. Upstate product PJ Hall had a double-double of 17 points and 10 boards. Guard Chase Hunter was back after missing games with an injury, he had 26 in his return to the lineup.

FSU had four players in double figures, Matt Cleveland had a team high 18. Asheville, North Carolina native Caleb Mills added 15. Clemson is now 10-1 in the ACC, it's their best 11 game conference start in program history.

The Tigers are back in action Tuesday night when they travel to take on Boston College for a 7 PM tipoff.
