Braves season has the feel of '2021'
Following their 4-1 win over the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday, the Atlanta Braves improved to 30-13 on the season and extended their win streak to four games in a row, their second longest win streak of the season thus far. “Yeah man, it’s legit,” 92-9 The Game’s Mike Bell said, as he and cohost Carl Dukes were discussing the Braves having just two losing streaks this season, one of three games and another of two games.
“It feels a little bit like 21’, a sum of its parts,” Bell continued as explained why he believes the Braves’ season reminds him of their 2021 season in which they reached and won the World Series after 44-45 record heading into the All-Star break. “Everyone contributed, every night, somebody else would make it happen,” Bell continued as he compared the two seasons.
“It feels magical,” Dukes said acknowledging he agreed with Bell in regards to how well the Braves are playing, which reminds he and Bell of the second half of the 2021 season as they went 44-28 to finish 88-73 overall before entering the postseason. “It’s impressive, let’s just keep it up,” Dukes said.Braves having a season with a 'magical' feel
