Clemson Basketball is back in action tonight at the ACC tournament. The Tigers have been off since Saturday after finishing 3rd in the regular season conference race and getting a double-bye in Greensboro.
Clemson has never won the ACC Tournament and that history dates back to the event's inception in the 1950's. They'll look to change that, the Tigers take on NC State in Thursday's night cap slated for a 930 PM tipoff.
Clemson won both regular season meetings including a 96-71 blowout win in Raleigh on February 25th. The Tigers look to pad their resume after setting a single-season program record for ACC wins with 14.
They've won 22 overall, but still many analysts say Clemson is on the wrong side of the NCAA Tournament bubble. A win over NC State would give them a 3 game sweep over the Wolfpack and bolster their chances of getting in the "Big Dance".
