The magical run for Coastal Carolina Baseball has ended just short of the program's 2nd National Title. Coastal won 26 straight games to earn its way to the College World Series Finals in Omaha.

In the final they ran into an LSU program looking for its 2nd National Title in the last three seasons. In Game One, LSU outlasted Coastal to win 1-0 Saturday night in an elite level pitchers duel.

The Tigers then took game two on Sunday, 5-3 to win the National Championship in two straight games. Coastal Coach Kevin Schnall and 1st Base Coach Matt Schilling were ejected in the bottom of the 1st inning of Sunday's game.

The ejections came after Schnall came out of the dugout to argue balls and strikes. Coastal Carolina finishes their season with a record of 56-12 and the Sun Belt Conference Title.
