The Carolina Panthers got a home win Sunday over the defending champions of their division. The Panther defense was tremendous allowing just three points and holding Tampa Bay to under 50 rushing yards for the game.
It's just the 2nd win of the season for Carolina and their 1st under Interim Head Coach Steve Wilks. The run game boosted the Panther offense, as they outgained Tampa Bay 173 to 46 on the ground.
D'onta Foreman paced the Panther rushing attack with 118 yards on 15 carries. Chuba Hubbard added 63 yards and a score on just 9 carries. The Panther D held legendary QB Tom Brady without a TD pass on the game.
P.J. Walker got the start again at QB for Carolina. He had his best game of the season thus far, going 16 of 22 for 177 yards and 2 TD's. The Panthers didn't turn the ball over all game.
The Panthers are on the road this Sunday, as they take on another division foe in the Atlanta Falcons. That game is set for a 1 PM kickoff. You can hear every Panther game, all season long on Classic Rock 101.1
