
Clemson got off the losing skid and won their 1st ACC game downing North Carolina 38-10 in Chapel Hill, Saturday. The Tigers scored from the 1st play of scrimmage with a trick play when WR Antonio Williams threw a TD pass to TJ Moore.
North Carolina answered with a Field Goal. Clemson then ripped off 28 unanswered points in the rest of the 1st half. The Tigers got three 1st quarter TD passes from Cade Klubnik. They got one more right before the half.
Klubnik found both Adam Randall and Christian Betancur for scoring strikes twice each. Clemson had a commanding 35-3 lead at the break. The scoring then stalled for both teams until the final frame.
In the 4th, Clemson added a Field Goal from Nolan Hauser to go up 38-3. UNC got a 4th quarter TD to make it 38-10. The Tigers outgained North Carolina 488 to 270 in total yards of offense.
Clemson is now 2-3 overall and 1-2 in ACC play. The Tigers travel to take on Boston College this weekend. That game is set for a 7:30 kickoff Saturday night on ACC Network.
