Furman will host former SoCon rival Elon. The Phoenix are 8-3 on the year and finished tied for 3rd in the Colonial Conference, going 6-2 in league play.

The Furman defense, which has been solid most all year will now focus on stopping the Elon offense. The Paladin D will have to slow down the Phoenix offense which is averaging about 28 points per game. The Elon offense is led by QB Matthew Mckay who has thrown over 2,400 yards this season with 21 TD's and just 4 interceptions.

Elon's offense also features RB Jalen Hampton who comes in with over a 1,000 yards rushing and 10 rushing TD's. The Paladin secondary which is led by standout Travis Blackshear will matchup with Elon receivers Bryson Daughtry and Jackson Parham. Both of them have over 40 catches and 600 yards receiving, they've combined for 11 TD catches on the year.

It'll be the 1st meeting between the two schools since 2018 and the 21st all time. Furman holds a slight advantage in the series at 12-8. You can hear the game Saturday, with pregame coverage at 1030 AM and kickoff at Noon on the Fan Upstate.
